Warehouse Operative; Goods In​/Goods

Winner Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Goods In / Goods Out Operative to join a well-established business within the metals industry.

This role would suit someone with previous experience handling metal stock, using computerised stock systems and managing the movement of materials within a busy metal processing environment.

Salary: £13.50-£14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm

Contract: Permanent

• Managing the receipt and despatch of metal materials.

• Checking incoming and outgoing stock against delivery notes and relevant paperwork.

• Recording stock movements accurately using computerised systems.

• Updating inventory records and ensuring materials are correctly logged.

• Coordinating the movement of materials between storage areas and processing departments.

• Maintaining accurate records of stock locations, quantities and material details.

• Liaising with colleagues to ensure goods are processed and despatched efficiently.

• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation and housekeeping.

• Previous experience working within the metals industry or a metal processing environment is essential.

• Good IT skills and confidence using computerised stock management systems.

• Experience with goods in/out, stock control or material tracking.

• Strong attention to detail, particularly when recording material information and stock movements.

• Good organisational and communication skills.

• A reliable, methodical approach and the ability to work as part of a team.

• £13.50-£14.00 per hour, depending on experience.

• Monday to Friday working hours, 7:30am-4:00pm.
