Your responsibilities will include:
Carrying out detailed visual inspections of manufactured products and components

Checking products against drawings, specifications and agreed quality standards
Completing in-process and final quality inspections
Recording inspection results accurately and maintaining relevant quality documentation
Raising and reporting non-conformances when required
Working closely with production and quality teams to resolve quality concerns
Ensuring defective or non-conforming products are correctly identified and segregated
Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high standards across the manufacturing operation
Following all company quality, health & safety and operating procedures

Previous visual inspection experience
Previous experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment
A strong eye for detail and the ability to identify small defects or inconsistencies
A good understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures
The ability to accurately complete inspection records and quality documentation
Good communication skills and the confidence to raise quality concerns
A methodical and organised approach to work
The ability to work both independently and as part of a wider manufacturing team
