Working hours - 6pm-2am Monday – Friday An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior QA to support our Technical Team.
As Senior QA, you will play a leading role in ensuring all QA functions within the Valley Park Manufacturing site are carried out and adhered to. Ensuring the monitoring of Food Safety and Quality are carried out on a day-to-day basis.
You will be working on:
· Quality Assurance:
Responsible for ensuring all Quality Assurance Systems are fulfilling the company’s legislative and regulatory responsibilities. Working in a highly safety and quality focused environment you will ensure that all appropriate control mechanisms are being continually adhered to ie HACCP, Traceability and Audit.
· Audits:
Responsible for ensuring that the QA Internal audits are carried out to the specified frequencies and regularly identifying any changes, informing the relevant personnel of these. Ensuring that the products produced and the environment within which manufacturing takes place is in line with legislative requirements and adhering to customer specifications. Routinely checking all aspects of the product process & documentation to ensure products are following the appropriate path whilst information / data is recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
· HACCP:
Ensuring all CCP’s throughout the manufacturing site are routinely controlled, monitored, audited and challenged.
· KPI’s:
Assist in monitoring and reporting technical KPI’s within your area of responsibility identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate strategies and procedures to harness sustainable improvement.
· Site Hygiene:
In conjunction with the Technical and Hygiene Manager ensure high standards of hygiene are achieved across the site in compliance with regulations and Codes of Practice.
· Technical Documentation:
Ensure Quality Assurance Paperwork, are accurate, routinely reviewed and updated reflecting the agreed manufacturing process and are routinely completed on time with due diligence.
· People:
Effectively harness, motivate, develop and train the QA team, through meaningful training plans. Spread the message of quality assurance and environmental hygiene throughout the business.
· Site Visits and Audits:
Assisting the Senior Technical team in the effective preparation of site visits and audits by Customers / EHO’s and Trading Standards.
