• Sunday: 19:00 – 23:00
• Monday: 08:00 – 15:00
• Tuesday: 08:00 – 18:00
• Thursday: 19:00 – 23:00

Pay and Hours

Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £14.18 an hour; this increases to £15.45 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week. If you prefer fewer hours (down to 12) we would still love to hear from you.

Shifts are scheduled within the availability windows above, and you will have 3 weeks’ notice of exact shift times. If your schedule aligns closely, we’re happy to discuss flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the van and trays are clean and kept tidy/organised.
• Leave the back yard clean, tidy and clear of rubbish, picking up litter as you see it.
• Ensure trays are washed as part of the tray wash process.
• Load the van as required and check it for roadworthiness.
• Talk to the customer about any changes to their order, including short‑code items and substitutions, offering a refund for anything they are unhappy with.
• Take care of products/deliveries as if they were your own.
• Explain to the customer that no additional charge will apply for substitutions.
• Deliver during the customer’s time slot.
• Call the customer before arriving at their property if arriving early.
• Call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.

• Build relationships with colleagues to create team spirit, working together to make sure our store is the best it can be for customers.
• Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues, taking time to understand the customer and say ‘Thank you’.
• Act quickly to respond to the changing needs of customers and embrace change within the store.
• Be energetic and driven to deliver beyond expectations, integrating home and work to achieve a balance that is right for you.
• Share ideas with your Manager and other colleagues on how we can improve our store for customers.

Qualifications

• A UK/EU/EEA driving licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Able to adhere to the GB Domestic Driving Rules.
