Facilities Assistant

Location: Keldy (North Yorkshire)
Salary: £12.71 per hour
Working Hours: Full-time, 38 hours
Days of Work: 2 week rolling rota, includes alternate weekends

Facilities Assistant – You will ensure cabins are in good working order, conduct general maintenance, respond promptly to issues, maintain excellent communication with guests, and perform general decor tasks.

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work to keep cabins in good working order and well-presented.
• Complete basic decorating and upkeep tasks to maintain high standards of cabin appearance.
• Respond quickly to maintenance issues and resolve them where possible, using basic tools and repair skills.
• Pay attention to detail and deliver daily tasks in a timely and competent manner.
• Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Follow brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin.

We’re looking for someone who is a dynamic, can‑do team player with the following:

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• The ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
• Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met.
• Some previous experience in a similar role.
• A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather.

16 years: £8.00 per hour
17 years: £10.85 per hour
