Artisan Recruitment are looking for an Approved Electrician for a well established Facilities company to cover work on Data Centres in the North of England.

Barnsley

Salary: £42,500 to 45,000 + Overtime + Company Van

Hours:

Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00

Contract:

Permanent

The Client is a leader in facilities management, combining engineering expertise with innovation to improve workplaces, enhance efficiency and support customers' long-term goals.

You will deliver electrical installation work to a high standard, ensuring compliance with current regulations and working both independently and as part of a team.

• Carry out commercial electrical installations, 1st & 2nd fix, power/lighting and commissioning.
• Read drawings, set out jobs and manage materials.
• Complete testing, inspection and certification.
• Supervise operatives when required and support project quotes/estimates.
• Install containment systems (tray, ladder, conduit).
• Follow RAMS, safety rules and company procedures.
• Provide progress updates and maintain strong customer relationships.

• City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, plus C&G 2382 (18th Edition).
• C&G 2391 testing & inspection (#removed# desirable).
• Experience with LV distribution; UPS/DC systems an advantage.
• Strong understanding of safe working practices and permit-to-work systems.
• Full UK driving licence; able to travel if required.
• IPAF, PASMA, First Aid, SMSTS/SSSTS/IOSH beneficial
