Hybrid We are seeking an Engagement Practitioner to join our team. This role is crucial for actively targeting and engaging families within the community, ensuring their registration and ongoing participation in Family Centre Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering targeted outreach activities and maintaining strong relationships with families and other professionals. Day-to-day of the role:
Plan, develop, and deliver targeted outreach activities using relevant data to effectively promote services to appropriate groups and individuals (ages 0-25). Actively seek out and identify families within the locality, creatively promoting activities to secure registration and engagement in services. Engage with families through targeted outreach in various venues, registering them with the Family Centre and ensuring effective service engagement.
Signpost, refer, and support families and children to access universal, targeted, and specialist services through appropriate referral systems. Maintain accurate records in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, including data stored on electronic databases. Contribute to the planning of groups and services in line with current learning curriculums/frameworks. Facilitate participation and dialogue between families and Family Centres to influence service planning and development.
Monitor the use of Family Centre Services using appropriate databases and report any safeguarding concerns in accordance with policies. Required Skills &
Qualifications:
Experience in multi-agency working and developing services to address local needs. Knowledge of child and family development and services provided by Family Centres. Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to engage effectively with the public. Basic IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate records in line with Data Protection guidelines. Ability to work independently, using creative approaches to achieve positive outcomes.
