Location: Barnsley, S74

Work Pattern: Various flexible shift patterns available – start times 00:00 - 01:00

Rate of Pay: Days – £14.70 per hour / Nights – £16.17 per hour (all rates inclusive of holiday pay)

Estimated Weekly Gross Pay: £705 (based on 48 hours/day shift)

Expected Annual Earnings: £36,691

• Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others.
• Securing the load of the trailer to ensure products are safely secured to minimise chances of damage.
• Collections and depot to depot delivery.

• Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift with planned average 10 hour shift.
• Flexible shift times to suit availability with consistent ongoing work and job security.

• Free on‑site training, driver trainers support, upskilling, CPC and ongoing periodic training.
• Mentor and mental health first aider available.
• Driver portal with assignment briefs, payslips, holiday accrual, historical pay and working time data.

• HGV Class 2 licence – minimum 3 months.
• Digi Tacho & CPC cards.
• Maximum 6 points for minor endorsements.
• Knowledge of driver regulations (WTD & Driver’s Hours).
• Good national geographical awareness.
• Excellent customer‑facing skills.
• Good timekeeper and able to work unsupervised.
• Enthusiastic and reliable with a commitment to delivering first–class customer service.
• Effective communication skills and flexible can‑do attitude.
