Looking for long-term, ongoing Class 2 driving work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position? M4 Specialist is recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our client based in Barnsley.
This is an excellent opportunity to work with a well-established business delivering tables and chairs across the UK, with regular nights out and excellent earning potential.
🕔 Start Times:

• Between 4:00 AM – 6:00 AM

• Monday to Friday

🌍 The Role for a Class 2 Driver:
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering tables and chairs to customers nationwide. This is a physically demanding role and will involve manual handling as part of the delivery process.
💼 What You'll Be Doing as a Class 2 Driver:

• Driving a Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally

• Delivering tables and chairs to customer sites

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Completing vehicle checks and relevant paperwork

• Providing excellent customer service

• Adhering to all road transport and health & safety regulations

• Completing regular nights out (typically 3–4 per week)
💪 What We're Looking For from a Class 2 Driver:

• A positive and professional attitude

• Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling requirements

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Excellent customer service skills

• Previous multidrop or furniture delivery experience would be advantageous but is not essential
📋 Requirements for a Class 2 Driver:

• Valid UK Class 2 (Category

C) Licence

• Valid CPC Qualification Card

• Valid Digital Tachograph Card

• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience preferred

• No more than 6 penalty points (for minor offences only)

• Good understanding of drivers' hours and working time regulations
💷 Pay & Benefits for a Class 2 Driver:
• £14.50 per hour
• £22.50 per night out
• £10 meal allowance for each night out
