HGV Driver

Great opportunity to work as an HGV Driver for our client, a logistics and distribution company responsible for transporting goods between warehouses, suppliers, and customers.

Staffline is recruiting HGV Drivers in Barnsley.

Consolidated rates of pay £16.06 - £23.99 per hour.

This role offers various shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Driver your duties include:

- Operating articulated heavy goods vehicles.
- Planning and following assigned routes, ensuring timely deliveries while complying with road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Carrying out daily vehicle inspections (walk around checks) before and after journeys to ensure roadworthiness.
- Assisting with loading and unloading goods when required, ensuring items are handled safely and correctly.

Our Perfect Worker

Our perfect worker will have 6 months of class 1 driving experience, CPC and a tacho card. You will be able to accurately operate and maintain tachograph records.
