The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting Class 1 (C&E Drivers) on behalf of EVRi Hub, Barnsley.
Hours:
Choose your own days of work and start times by providing a 2-hour window across 24 hours, 7 days a week. Please note you must be able to provide availability on a Monday. PAYE Rates: (PAYE 6AM onwards):
Monday to Thursday, £16.21, Friday £16.95, Saturday £17.87 & Sunday £18.20 (PAYE 2PM onwards):
Monday to Thursday £16.87, Friday £17.60, Saturday £18.29, Sunday £18.61 (PAYE 10PM onwards):
Monday to Friday £17.59, Saturday £20.69 & Sunday £21.96 PAYE ROLLEDUP Rates: (RU 6AM onwards):

The role:
Trunking between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels. Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards. Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road. Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
Requirements:
Some experience would be an advantage however new pass are welcome Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category CE). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.
