Smart Solutions are currently recruiting experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our client based in Barnsley. This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for regular, ongoing work with guaranteed weekly shifts and competitive rates of pay.

• Starts between 4:00am and 1:00pm: £16.25 per hour
• Starts before 4:00am or after 1:00pm: £18.25 per hour

• Any start time: £19.25 per hour

• Any start time: £22.25 per hour

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Your duties will include:

• Completing 2-5 deliveries per day.
• Loading and unloading goods, with handball involved.
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks before each shift.
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Delivering goods safely and on time.
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery point.
• Following all road transport, Driver Hours and health & safety regulations.

• Minimum 2 years' HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) driving experience.
• Valid UK Category C (Class
  2) driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Comfortable with manual handling and handball duties.
• Reliable, professional and punctual.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
