Location: Barnsley

Pay Rate:

• AM Class 1 Driver: £17.00 per hour
• AM Class 2 Driver: £15.00 per hour
• PM Class 1 Driver: £18.00 per hour

Times and Days of Work: Monday to Friday (additional shifts may be available)

Position Times:

• AM Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers: 5:00am start
• PM Class 1 Driver: 12:00pm start

. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading distribution operation with ongoing work available until late January
, offering stable hours, excellent rates of pay and an immediate start.

Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores, completing a maximum of 4 drops per shift
. Drivers will be expected to maintain excellent communication with the client and provide a professional and reliable service at all times.

• Completing store deliveries safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks before departure
• Ensuring all delivery paperwork is completed accurately
• Maintaining excellent communication with the transport team and client
• Adhering to drivers' hours, working time regulations and road transport legislation
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all delivery locations
• Reporting any defects or vehicle issues promptly

• Valid Class 1 (CE) or Class 2 (C) Licence
• Minimum 1 year's driving experience
• Valid CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Strong communication skills
• Good knowledge of drivers' hours regulations
• Professional, reliable and safety-conscious approach
• Available to start ASAP
