We’re growing our Barnsley driver team and looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to support our busy M&S operation this summer and beyond
Whether you prefer trunking, store deliveries, tramping, or shunting, you’ll be joining a fast-paced logistics operation with consistent work, modern vehicles, and a supportive transport team behind you with genuine long-term opportunities.
What You’ll Get- £19.21 per hour
- £23.05 weekend rate per hour
- £23.05 Bank holiday rate + 1 day in lieu

- Hours:
40 - Rota: 5 from 7 on a 28 week rolling rota with start times between 00:00 - 05:00
You’ll be delivering stock safely and efficiently to M&S stores while providing a professional service at every location.
What You’ll Be Doing- Completing store deliveries across the network
- Carrying out vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules
- Representing Gist and M&S professionally on site
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience
- Driver CPC qualification
- A driving record that meets our internal safety and compliance standards
- Professional and safety-focused approach
- Reliable, team-focused attitude
- Comfortable with manual handling where required
