Salary: £27,976 per annum
Contract Type: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (shifts between 6:00am and 4:30pm)
Multitask Personnel is proud to be partnering with a leading utilities provider specialising in the supply, installation, and maintenance of gas, electric and SMART meters. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stock Administrator to join their busy and expanding team based in Hoyland.
The RoleReporting directly to the Stock Team Leader, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management and replenishment of stock, maintaining system accuracy, and providing key operational reporting. Working closely with warehouse, transport, planning and scheduling teams, you will help ensure that stock is available where and when it is needed, while supporting engineers and stakeholders via email and telephone.
This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on position that would suit an organised individual with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update stock management systems and spreadsheets relating to inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Process stock adjustments and ensure system accuracy and integrity at all times.
- Liaise daily with teams across Doncaster, Glasgow, transport providers, and third‑party suppliers.
- Support monthly stock counts and audits alongside the warehouse team.
- Monitor stock levels across multiple locations and coordinate replenishment activities.
- Create engineer orders and picking lists for specialist stock requirements.
- Track stock movements, pallet records, and meter returns using Microsoft Excel.
- Work collaboratively with planning, scheduling, transport, and warehouse teams to resolve queries efficiently.
- Provide cover across the wider stock and logistics function during periods of absence or annual leave.
- Recognised qualification in Stock Control, Warehousing, Logistics, or a related discipline (desirable).
- Previous experience in a Stock Administrator, Inventory Control, Logistics, or Warehouse Administration role.
- Experience working within a warehouse or distribution environment would be advantageous.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence working with data and spreadsheets.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- A positive and proactive team player.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high standards.
