Leading Hand, Warehouse, Warehouse Manager

Lead From the Front in a Fast-Paced Distribution Environment We're looking for an experienced Leading Hand to join our warehouse operations team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with warehouse leadership experience who thrives in a busy distribution environment and enjoys motivating teams to deliver outstanding results. As a key member of the operations team, you'll support the day-to-day running of the picking operation, ensuring customer orders are picked accurately, safely, and on time whilst maintaining productivity and service standards.

What You'll Be Doing Leading and motivating a team of warehouse operatives. Allocating resources and coordinating workloads effectively. Driving productivity, accuracy, and service level performance. Supporting daily warehouse operations and shift objectives. Coaching and developing team members. Conducting shift briefings and handovers. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety procedures. Maintaining warehouse housekeeping standards. Supporting stock investigations and cycle counts. Providing supervisor cover when required.

What We're Looking For Essential ?

Experience with in a warehouse or distribution environment ? Previous team leader, leading hand, or supervisory experience ? Strong communication and organisational skills ? Ability to motivate and develop others ? Understanding of warehouse Health & Safety requirements ? Experience coordinating workloads and managing priorities ? A hands-on approach and willingness to support operational requirements across the warehouse Desirable ? Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) ?
