The Recruitment Crowd are recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our industry-leading parcel courier client based in Barnsley (S74).
Looking for a job that fits around your studies? Our night shift could be ideal for students looking to earn extra money while keeping your daytime hours free for university, college or other commitments.

06:00am-14:00pm| 14:00pm-22:00pm| 22:00pm – 06:00am - Pay Rate:
From £12.71 per hour - Hours:
Opportunities to work up to 20 hours per week, subject to your visa/work restrictions - Job Type: Ongoing, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Sorting and organising parcels accurately according to routes and destinations
- Using scanners and conveyor systems
- Checking labels and ensuring parcels are correctly categorised
- Working as part of a team to keep the warehouse running efficiently
- Identifying and reporting damaged parcels
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy and safe
- Following all company health and safety and security procedures
You don't need previous warehouse experience – we're looking for people who are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Physically fit and happy to be on your feet during shifts
- Able to lift parcels of varying weights
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Detail-focused and able to follow instructions
- Able to travel reliably to the Barnsley (S74) site
