Overview
A growing chartered accountancy practice based in Barnstaple is looking for an Accounts Semi Senior to join their team. You will prepare year end accounts, tax and VAT for a mixed client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. The firm offers support, progression and development, with flexible hours and hybrid working.
Responsibilities- Prepare year end accounts for a mixed client base (sole traders, partnerships and limited companies).
- Assist with tax compliance for personal and corporate taxes and VAT returns.
- Provide wider services as part of a growing practice and develop in technical areas.
- Typically AAT qualified, or progression through experience; alternatively pursuing ACCA or other qualifications.
- Experience in an accountancy practice environment with 2–3 years or more.
- Experience in year-end accounts preparation, tax, bookkeeping, VAT, or related areas.
£25,000 – £30,000 dependent on background and experience. Includes study support and a supportive, team-oriented environment with development opportunities. Flexible hours and hybrid working.
