Sessional Doctor - Little Bridge House Children's Hospice

Children's Hospice South West (CHSW) is a registered charity dedicated to the provision of hospice care for life limited children and their families from the South West. In response to a growing demand for children's palliative care and hospice support we are developing our medical team at Little Bridge House, Fremington, , North Devon.

We are keen to hear from General Practitioners/ Paediatricians who have an interest in children's palliative care and who can work independently to cover routine clinical sessions at the hospice and also ad hoc out of hours cover for end-of-life care.

This provides a unique opportunity to work closely with children and families, and in partnership with other practitioners and service providers to offer highly personalised medical care in response to the needs of the child and the wishes of the family.

Training and support will be offered, and this provides a great entry opportunity into the field of children's palliative care.
