The English Teacher will teach across the age and ability range, adapting lessons to meet diverse educational needs, including SEND. The role requires setting high expectations, delivering evidence‑informed strategies, and contributing to a stimulating learning environment that challenges students to achieve their best.
Key Responsibilities- Teach English across age and ability ranges in line with professional standards
- Adapt and deliver lessons based on prior attainment and SEND requirements
- Set high expectations for all students
- Engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
- Inspire, motivate, challenge, and support students to ensure progress
Collaborate with colleagues to create effective learning opportunities
- Qualified teacher status with experience teaching English
- Strong understanding of evidence‑informed teaching strategies
- High expectations of self, colleagues, and students
- Organised, motivated, and able to deliver outstanding lessons
- Ability to inspire and support students to achieve their full potential
- Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship/work visas available)
- Proof of Right to Work required at interview stage
- Salary range £32,916–£51,048 (MPS–UPS)
