Tutor EOTAS - Ilfracombe

Quantum Scholars are seeking qualified teachers (QTS) and experienced tutors to deliver 1-to-1 tuition across Ilfracombe and the surrounding North Devon area .

This work supports pupils who are not currently accessing mainstream education , with tuition delivered either on school sites or off-site in non-educational settings .

This role is ideal for teachers looking for a flexible, part-time alternative to mainstream classroom teaching , while continuing to make a meaningful impact through individualised support.

Applicants must already have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.

• 1-to-1 tutoring across Ilfracombe and North Devon

• Delivery may take place on school sites or off-site in community or non-educational settings

• Pupils may present with a range of needs, including autism, behavioural challenges, SEMH, anxiety, or school refusal

• Part-time, flexible hours depending on pupil and placement needs

• Qualified Teacher Status preferred, or strong tutoring experience

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service desirable)

• Ability to travel locally within Ilfracombe / North Devon

• Experience working with pupils with autism, behavioural needs, SEMH, or alternative provision backgrounds is highly desirable

• Calm, adaptable, and relationship-focused teaching approach

• Rate dependent on experience and qualifications
