Overview

Axcis Education is closely supporting all-through SEND provision that supports pupils with a wide range of complex needs. This inclusive school is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and play a vital role in supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic development.

Position Details

Teaching Assistant (PMLD Support)

Start Date:

Monday 7th September (or as soon as possible)

Hours:

Full-time or part-time, between 9.00am – 3.30pm
Pay Rate: £14.25–£16.50 per hour (depending on experience & qualifications)

Responsibilities

Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
Manage challenging situations calmly and confidently.
Collaborate with the teaching team and support staff.
Build positive, trusting relationships with young people and staff.
Assist with student welfare and safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

Calm, patient, and confident in managing challenging situations.
Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
