This role provides a unique opportunity to work with colleagues across the College and throughout the region, giving you exposure to our wide-ranging curriculum offer and the chance to further develop your leadership skills.

North Devon College is on an exciting journey of its own, and we want you to be part of it.

What you’ll do
  • Influence students and staff in relation to both teaching and learning and digital technologies

  • Innovate whilst continuing to develop your own skills
  • Collaborate with colleagues at every level, from teachers to senior leaders
  • Teach part of a timetable yourself
What we’re looking for
  • An outstanding teacher with experience of delivering support and training to others
  • A proactive organiser with attention to detail and passionate about education for all
  • A strong communicator who builds positive relationships
  • Enthusiastic, collaborative and driven to make a difference
  • Currently in a school or college, you might be a head of department, an experienced teacher involved in teaching and learning development or a leader in education
In return you’ll get
  • A generous holiday entitlement + a 2-week Christmas shutdown
  • Enrolled into a very generous Pension Scheme
  • Access to amazing benefits, including 24/7 counselling, shopping discounts, free on-site gym and eye care vouchers
  • To be part of an enthusiastic, friendly and ambitious team where your ideas and initiative are welcomed
  • A genuine commitment to your professional development
  • To make a real difference to teaching and learning in North Devon and wider South West region

Ambition, Collaboration, Energy. These are our values.
