Senior Mechanical Engineer

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will carry out detailed Engineering design activities, working closely with cross‑functional teams on a range of projects, ensuring work complies with industry standards and regulations.

• Produce technical drawings to BS 8888 standards;
• Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) appropriately;
• Translate an existing concept‑level design into manufacture‑ready drawings;
• Create detailed part and assembly drawings, including BOMs where required;
• Prepare and release drawings into Solid Works PDM;
• Ensure drawings are clear, consistent, and suitable for suppliers/manufacturing.

• Degree Qualified Engineer in a Mechanical Engineering subject

• Strong experience with Solid Works
• Good working knowledge of BS 8888 and modern drawing practices
• Solid understanding of GD&T
• Experience preparing designs for manufacture
• Familiarity with Solid Works PDM
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently
