Practice Nurse; Maternity Cover

Job Summary

We are a caring, compassionate, forward‑thinking, friendly, coordinated, enthusiastic practice looking for a registered Practice Nurse to cover maternity leave for up to 8‑12 months. The role is up to 25 hours per week with a preferred pattern of Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, but we welcome other availabilities.

Fremington Medical Centre serves over 7,800 patients in Barnstaple, Devon and strives to provide high‑quality, safe, and friendly care. Our multidisciplinary team works in an open, inclusive, patient‑centred ethic. We are currently enhancing our patient contact and appointment systems, modernising clinical and administrative spaces, and engaging in clinical education and primary‑care research.

• Deliver the Practice's Nursing Services as part of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring a high standard of patient care.
• Work closely with clinicians and admin staff to ensure accuracy and safety of procedures and working practice.

• Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or equivalent
