Livestock Unit Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship

An excellent opportunity to join the team at Higher Rolleston Farm. You must have experience in working cattle and hold a full UK driving licence.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience working with cattle.

The main duties will include but are not limited to:

• Operating farm machinery including tractors and attachments
• Monitoring livestock
• Handling livestock and providing appropriate accommodation for them
• Working in a team and keeping records

Knowledge and confidence around cattle is required.

Tractor Licence.

Full UK Driving Licence.

You will be supported by an assessor throughout your apprenticeship.

As you progress through your apprenticeship your duties and responsibilities will alter as you develop the skills for a successful career in agriculture.

Training will be a mix of face to face and online learning.

You will gain a Livestock Technician Level 3 qualification with further opportunities for training to Level assistant farm manager, development and permanent employment upon completion.

Do you have a full UK driving licence? Do you have a tractor Licence? Knowledge and Confidence around cattle is a must. half-day trial for interview

There may be the opportunity of a permanent position and to progress to the Level 4 Assistant Farm Manager apprenticeship.
