North Devon District Hospital (NDDH) is part of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. This role provides a developmental post combining clinical and academic training in breast imaging, with progression from Band 5 to Band 6 after completion of the Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography and Senior General Radiographer competencies.

• Perform mammography, including 3D tomosynthesis, stereotactic vacuum‑assisted biopsies and excisions, and future contrast‑enhanced spectral mammography (CESM).
• Rotate through the general imaging department and participate in the out‑of‑hours service.
• Provide patient care and compassionate communication as a proactive team member.
• Undertake clinical and academic training, including the required Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography.
• Progress to Band 6 upon successful completion of training and competency requirements.

• Band 5 level radiographer with successful completion of a Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography.
• Evidence of Senior General Radiographer competencies.
• Demonstrated ability to work proactively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to patient‑centred care and continuous professional development.

Salary: £39,959 to £48,117 per annum pro rata (Band
