Are you passionate about people and looking to continue your career in healthcare? Join us as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker (SHCSW) at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, where you will deliver a high standard of care alongside your colleagues.

Every day you will make a huge difference to the lives of the people we care for, providing personal care, promoting nutritional needs, and aiding patients in recovery and recuperation on their journey to better health.

• Provide personal care and assistance to patients.
• Promote nutritional needs and support dietary plans.
• Assist with venepuncture, wound care, insulin administration, and pressure area monitoring.
• Order and manage stock for medical supplies.
• Work within the Ilfracombe and Braunton community nursing team to deliver care in patients’ homes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery.

3 × 7.5 hour shifts per week, including some weekend and Bank Holiday working. The hours may be subject to change to longer shifts.

• Full driving licence and a vehicle capable of covering the large geographical area of service.
• Experience in healthcare, or willingness to be trained in relevant clinical skills.
• Commitment to providing high quality patient care and maintaining professional standards.
