The Neuro-Rehab Service are looking to recruit an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Speech and Language Therapist to work as part of our Integrated Community Stroke/Neuro Service. The opportunity is a highly specialist therapist to work part‑time and gain substantive employment within the service. The team support patients after a stroke and neurological conditions, enabling patients to continue to receive high quality, specialist and patient focused rehabilitation outside the hospital environment.

About the Role

This is a key Band 7 position with a specialist focus on telerehabilitation within our stroke and neuro‑rehabilitation pathways, supporting patients with sub‑acute and long‑term neurological conditions.

You will work as an autonomous practitioner, delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care while leading innovation and contributing to ongoing service development across the Trust. This post sits within either the Northern or Eastern Integrated Community Stroke/Neuro Service, with a cross‑service remit to develop and embed an integrated telerehabilitation offer across our Integrated Community Stroke/Neuro Services as well as Neuro‑Rehab Outpatients.

Our services support patients transitioning from inpatient to community settings, through delivering specialist, goal‑oriented rehabilitation aligned to national guidance. There’s a strong focus on improving access, intensity and continuity of therapy through actively developing telerehabilitation and group‑based approaches.
