An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Abdominal Wall service as a Clinical Nurse Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract. This pivotal role involves coordinating and supporting patients throughout their entire treatment pathway, from initial assessment and pre-optimisation through to surgery and follow-up care.

The successful candidate will lead specialist telephone clinics, manage and chair multidisciplinary team meetings, provide expert patient support and advice, and work collaboratively with surgeons and the wider MDT to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. You will also play a key role in service development, audit, pathway coordination and the management of specialist services, including the Abdominal wall Botox programme. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organised clinician who is passionate about improving patient experience and helping to shape the future of a specialist surgical service.

We are one of the largest specialist abdominal wall services in the country and this is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a growing and evolving specialist team. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to patients undergoing complex abdominal wall reconstruction, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team and contributing to the ongoing development of an innovative specialist service.
