Job Description & How to Apply Below

I’m working on behalf of an independent, purpose-led integrated agency to appoint an outstanding Digital Director. This Digital Director role exists to shape the future of digital across the agency, setting standards for strategic thinking, delivery quality and commercial performance. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and global clients, while guiding a specialist team to deliver measurable impact at scale.

This is a senior, client-facing Digital Director position with responsibility for one of the agency’s largest international accounts. The focus is on high-spend performance marketing, particularly paid search, alongside broader digital strategy. While supported by a strong leadership layer, the Digital Director remains actively involved at a strategic level, using data to inform decisions and challenge thinking.

What you’ll be doing

As Digital Director, you’ll define and own the agency’s digital vision. You’ll lead the development of insight-led digital strategies that align with client objectives and commercial goals. You’ll work closely with client services, creative and media teams to ensure joined-up delivery.

You’ll act as the senior strategic lead on key accounts, advising global stakeholders and guiding multi-market activity. You’ll interrogate performance data, translate complexity into clear direction, and ensure digital work delivers demonstrable value. Alongside this, you’ll support new business, contribute to agency growth, and help evolve digital products and services.

What experience you’ll need to apply
  • Senior leadership experience in digital or performance marketing.
  • Deep expertise in paid search and managing high-budget digital activity.
  • Proven experience advising senior client stakeholders, including global teams.
  • Strong analytical capability with confidence working with complex data.
  • Experience leading, developing and supporting specialist teams.
  • Commercial understanding of profitability, forecasting and growth.
  • Clear communication skills across presentations, strategy and written output.
  • Willingness to travel internationally where required, with reasonable accommodations available.
What you’ll get in return for your experience

In return, the Digital Director will receive a highly competitive salary and benefits package reflecting the seniority and impact of the role. You’ll join a values-led organisation with a strong commitment to people, planet and profit. There’s genuine autonomy, the opportunity to shape strategy at leadership level, and the chance to work on ambitious global brands within a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports continuous improvement.
