UX Designer

UX Designer (GDS) UK Wide | Hybrid (1 day per week in London, Manchester or Glasgow) We're looking for a UX Designer with experience delivering user-centred digital services within GDS and public sector environments. You'll join a multidisciplinary Agile team, helping to design accessible, intuitive services that meet user needs and align with Government Digital Service standards. What you'll be doing Designing end-to-end user experiences for digital products and services Creating user journeys, personas, service blueprints and wireframes Building interactive prototypes using Figma and  Prototype Kit Working closely with User Researchers, Product Owners, Developers and Business Analysts Applying GDS principles, accessibility standards and user-centred design best practices Presenting and justifying design decisions to stakeholders What we're looking for Experience working on GDS or public sector digital projects Strong understanding of GDS Service Standards and  Design System Experience creating UX and service design artefacts Strong prototyping skills using Figma Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams Knowledge of HTML, CSS and  Prototype Kit would be beneficial Eligible for SC Clearance (existing clearance is advantageous) This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale digital transformation programmes that have a real impact on citizens and public services.
