Immediate Start The Company They are a large, established organisation investing heavily in applied AI to improve customer-facing and internal capabilities. The business operates at enterprise scale and provides standardised GenAI services through an internal platform. Technology teams work closely with product, architecture, and delivery stakeholders to solve meaningful, real-world problems. The environment values engineering quality, collaboration, and accountability for outcomes.
The Role and Deliverables Design, build, and maintain production-grade AI-enabled applications consuming standardised GenAI services such as LLM-based capabilities, RAG, summarisation, and classification. Develop cloud-native microservice or full-stack applications using API-led architectures. Integrate AI capabilities securely and reliably, in line with platform standards and guardrails. Take end-to-end ownership from local development through CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and incident resolution. Build and maintain Dev Sec Ops pipelines with automated testing, security controls, and infrastructure as code.
Implement observability, logging, metrics, and alerting to support live production workloads. Your Skills & Experience Strong experience in software engineering, delivering complex distributed or microservice-based systems. Proven capability building and operating production applications with embedded AI or machine learning features. Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js, with exposure to modern frontend frameworks where relevant. Solid experience integrating systems via APIs, including REST and event-driven patterns.
Hands-on Dev Ops expertise covering CI/CD, containerisation, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Strong understanding of non-functional requirements including security, resilience, performance, and scalability. Confidence working across multidisciplinary teams and communicating technical concepts clearly.
