As a Process Operator
, you will work within our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, operating equipment and processes that turn raw materials into safe, effective medicines. Your work will directly contribute to ensuring patients receive the treatment they depend on every day.
Working as part of our Operations team, you will carry out hands-on manufacturing and packing activities in line with strict pharmaceutical standards.
You will:
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used to produce medicines (e.g. blending, compression, coating, packing)
- Follow detailed batch records and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, high-quality output
- Complete all documentation accurately to meet regulatory and data integrity requirements
- Set up, clean, and maintain equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Monitor processes and escalations any issues, deviations, or quality concerns
- Carry out in-process checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Work to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP),
Quality
, and EHS standards at all times - Contribute to continuous improvement and team initiatives to enhance performance and safety
This is a practical, shop-floor-based manufacturing role where attention to detail and following procedures precisely are essential.
The PersonWe're looking for individuals who want to build a career in manufacturing - ideally within a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, food, or similar industries.
You will bring:
- A strong work ethic and a genuine interest in manufacturing operations
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow strict procedures accurately
- Confidence working with technical processes, numbers, and documentation
- A proactive and safety-first mindset
- Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills and mechanical aptitude
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (desirable)
Experience with in pharmaceutical manufacturing or GMP environments is advantageous but not essential - full training will be provided.
