More detail about the role
Enhanced Supportive Care (ESC) is a clinical model that integrates palliative care principles early in a cancer diagnosis. It aims to shift the focus away from terminal care – helping patients manage cancer and treatment related symptoms and improve their quality of life alongside active oncology care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care to people living with cancer and complex supportive care needs. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical assessment, symptom management, psychological support, and care coordination throughout the patient pathway.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced oncology, palliative care, or specialist nurse seeking to develop advanced clinical skills within a supportive and innovative service.
This role presents an excellent secondment opportunity for nurses looking to expand their specialist knowledge and gain experience working within acute oncology as an ESC CNS.
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 16:00
Interview Date: To Be Confirmed
