Barista​/Coffee Shop Assistant

Overview

18+ - £12.71 per hour.
16-17 - £8.00 per hour. The local store is looking for a Minimum 20 hrs per week Barista/Coffee Shop Assistant. From the first coffee poured to the final smile shared, every moment in Pausa is a chance to brighten someone’s day - and you’ll be right at the centre of it all.

While meeting high standards for Health and Safety and Food Hygiene, our Coffee Shop Assistants function as part of a tight knit team, working well under pressure and excelling in product knowledge to deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.

• Be customer obsessed – consistently consider the impact of your actions on the customer experience, and strive to deliver joyful experiences in the most effective and thoughtful way.
• Serve hot and cold beverages that delight our customers.
• Dishes up our delicious savoury and sweet food items, ensuring presentation sparks joy.
• Ensure all cooked food is nice and hot so they can be enjoyed as intended.
• Keep the restaurant tables clear and sanitised promptly to maintain our customers high expectations.
• Provide an exceptional standard of cleanliness throughout the kitchen, service area and restaurant.
• Consistently deliver exceptional customer service to support strong CSAT (Customer Satisfaction) scores, ensuring every customer receives a welcoming, helpful, and memorable experience.
• Work and in contact with a variety of different ingredients including dairy, nuts, meat products including pork.

• You have previous experience working closely with a team and you’ll ideally have prior work experience in a similar environment.
