Customer Service Assistant

Job Description & Requirements

The role focuses on ensuring a positive customer experience in the store. You will assist customers, maintain store presentation, manage deliveries, and handle cashier duties. Parking, trolley access, and stock placement are part of your responsibilities.

• Provide a high level of customer service to every customer.
• Ensure store presentation, stock, and deliveries meet standards.
• Assist with cash handling and payment processing with a smile.

• Flexible, reliable, and committed to a long‑term career.
• Availability to work 3 shifts per week.
• Flexibility to work across the store's opening hours, including early and late shifts.
• Rotas are issued 3 weeks in advance.
• Store opening hours:
  Monday to Friday 7:00am–8:00pm;
  Saturday 7:30am–7:00pm;
  Sunday 10:00am–4:00pm.

Every day you will deal with customers. Experience in a similar role is preferred. You should be friendly, proactive, and comfortable working in a team.

• Pay: £12.71 per hour (21+), £12.00 per hour (18‑20), £8.82 per hour (under 18).
• Up to £300 per month gain‑sharing bonus.
