Early Nourishment is a community-focused organization supporting parents and caregivers across North Devon and Torridge and beyond. Through the lottery-funded Nourish and Connect Project, the team offers free weekly drop-ins in multiple locations to provide practical feeding and emotional support. The Flourish Project delivers social and educational activities that promote mindfulness, connection, community building, and learning about the planet and nature.

All services are free with the exception of breast pump hire and home visits, reflecting a deep understanding of the financial barriers families can face in accessing support and mental health resources.
This is a part-time, Project Worker role focused on supporting the delivery and coordination of Early Nourishment’s community projects in Torridge. The Project Worker will help plan, organize, and monitor project activities, ensuring that sessions, resources, and communications are delivered on time and in line with project goals.
Qualifications- Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to engage sensitively with diverse parents, caregivers, and partners.
- Commitment to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion, with an understanding of barriers faced by families in rural or low-income communities.
- Relevant experience in community work, education, health, social care, or a related field; formal qualifications in these areas are beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively within a small, mission
