HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver – Long-Term Ongoing Role

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook
.

This is a long-term sickness cover position
, with work expected to continue until January 2027

Newly qualified ADR licence holders are encouraged to apply – previous ADR driving experience is not required
, as full training will be provided.

• 42.5 hours per week
• 6:00am starts, Monday to Friday
• Some Saturday work required
• Overtime paid after 42.5 hours
• £ per hour
• Overtime paid at £ per hour
• Free on-site parking
• PPE provided
• Full training and ongoing support
• Accrued or advanced holiday pay

• HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR (Packages) licence
• A minimum of 90 days’ HGV driving experience within the last 12 months (insurance requirement)
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD or DR convictions within the last year

• Complete multi-drop deliveries of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers, including rural locations
• Carry out manual handling as part of your daily duties
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Work safely, professionally and in line with all company procedures and transport legislation
