A Day in the Life of a Teaching Assistant

Your day might begin by greeting pupils as they arrive, helping them settle into class, and setting up learning materials. You’ll support the teacher with group activities, provide one-to-one assistance for pupils who need extra help, and celebrate those “lightbulb” learning moments. At break times, you’ll be a friendly face in the playground — building confidence, encouraging inclusion, and making a genuine impact every single day.
