Overview
Hire Ability Vermont is recruiting for a Career Training and Education Coach to join our dynamic team in Barre. The CTE Coach will provide time‑limited on‑site support for participants with disabilities in two settings: education/training settings and/or on the job site. This position may provide support prior to, during and/or after a participant's work schedule. This might include direct, one‑to‑one support at job sites to provide hands‑on job training in a workplace to help the participant become fully independent in a place, train, fade model.
After the participant has become stable on the job the CTE Coach may provide periodic check‑ins with the participant and/or their supervisor.

Hire Ability Career Training and Education Coach - Temporary (Job Requisition #54016), is open to all State employees and external applicants. This is a temporary position. Temporary work is typically for variable hours, and is not expected to be full‑time. The State does not guarantee 40 hours of work per week.

Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months or more of work or volunteer experience in human services, customer service, or a related field requiring considerable personal interactions.
Preferred QualificationsExperience working with individuals with disabilities.
