Nights Home Intervention Counselor
WCMHS is seeking a Nights Home Intervention Counselor. Are you interested in working nights and joining a dedicated team of counselors making a significant difference? This full-time position involves working nights, including weekends, providing direct care to consumers in crisis at a community-based facility in Barre, VT. Responsibilities include ensuring a safe environment and handling various care situations which may involve strong emotions.
Employees may need to carry items for clients, run, bend, stoop, and maneuver. Part-time and full-time applicants are encouraged to apply.
Required: High school diploma or GED plus some experience; or the equivalent.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree with 0-2 years relevant experience, or 2 years of college plus 2-4 years' experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
Compensation and Benefits:This position offers an hourly rate of $21.23/hr plus differential for night shifts, with benefits including tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, employer-sponsored health, dental, life, and disability insurances, and a 403(b) retirement plan with employer match.
