Inventory Cycle Counter (Cherry Picker) ~ FHN, Sun - Wed 6:00pm - 4:30am

Purpose:

Safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/cherry picker as well as other powered equipment for the daily task of RF cycle counting all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse. Accurately process orders in and out of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cycle count all zones in the distribution/operations warehouse with an RF gun.
  • Utilizing powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately.
  • Work in hot and cold warehouse environment.
  • Utilize computerized warehouse management systems (WMS) and radio frequency (RF) scanners to process all barcoded products.
  • Identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Flexibility to work in multiple areas.
  • Work safely and maintain a clean work environment.

Knowledge

Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sitdown forklift.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
Essential Functions

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is: regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up twelve (12) hours/day able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet; able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures;

able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above adidas GENERAL occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.

Requisite

Education and Experience /

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift.
  • Required to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language.
