Support low-income parents through personalised employability guidance as a Client Adviser with Work East Ren in a hybrid workplace-based service. Help parents overcome barriers through practical, person-centred support.
East Renfrewshire Council is seeking a highly motivated Client Adviser for its Parental Employability Support Fund service. You will deliver holistic key worker support, helping parents upskill, retrain, enter, sustain, and progress in employment. The service addresses employment barriers and career progression through tailored interventions.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver a person-centred key worker service
- Support parents to upskill and retrain
- Provide personalised employability interventions
- Help increase household income through employment support
- Work flexibly from home up to 40%
- Highly motivated approach to employability support
- Ability to support low-income parents
- Understanding of barriers to employment and progression
- Willingness to undertake regulated work with children
- Right to work in the United Kingdom
