Recycling Operative

We are seeking a dedicated Recycling Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sorting, processing, and managing recyclable materials in an efficient and safe manner.

Duties

* Operate recycling machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

* Sort recyclable materials according to company standards and environmental regulations.

* Load and unload materials, often requiring heavy lifting.

* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

* Conduct routine inspections of machinery and report any faults or issues promptly.

* Assist in the optimisation of recycling processes to improve productivity.

* Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or injuries.

Qualifications

* Previous experience or knowledge of mechanical systems is desirable.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with physical strength and stamina.

* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

* Good understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to industrial environments.

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

* Flexibility to work shifts as required, including early mornings or late shifts if necessary.
