What you’ll do:

The Gas Bar Manager will report to the Director of Energy and Food (Mayerthorpe). They will always be a positive role model, providing legendary customer service in alignment with our Mission statement, Values and our “You’re at Home Here” brand.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide directions to team members and enforce employee productivity targets for the department.
  • Celebrate successes and acknowledge a job well done.
  • Leading, rewarding and disciplining all team members in accordance with Pembina West Co-op policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all legislated training is completed by all employees as required. (TDG, WHIMIS ETC.)
  • The development of annual work plans for all team members.
  • Semi Annually Reviewing the progress of each team member; recognize their achievements and guide them through required areas of development.
  • Assist in Providing leadership in the roll-out and implementation of new and existing programs.
  • Identifying training needs for the Gas Bar and work with the Human Resources Department to complete an annual Team Training & Development Plan.
  • Assist with Loss prevention.
  • Ability to perform open and close duties as required.
  • Evenings and Weekends with some day shifts.
