We are seeking a Senior Accountant to replace a key member in our Barrie office. This role requires expertise in tax legislation and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will engage with tax authorities, prepare tax returns, and develop strategies tailored to client needs.
Key Responsibilities- Handle tax audits and appeals with relevant authorities
- Develop strategies for client tax optimization
- Prepare and review income tax returns and forms
- Research tax issues and draft client communications
- Conduct risk analysis and document tax filings
- Completion or nearing completion of CPA designation
- 3+ years in public accounting with tax focus
- Enrolled in an in-depth tax course
- Solid grasp of tax compliance and planning
- Team-oriented with a focus on quality work
