Cost Accounting Specialist at Cronos

In this position, you will be an essential part of the finance team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Cost Accounting. Your responsibilities will include insightful analysis of plant costs, developing accurate standard costs in SAP, and fine-tuning monthly KPIs to empower the operations team. You will also monitor inventory controls and assist with internal audits to uphold compliance with governance policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report on material and labor variances

• Support preparation and management of standard costs in SAP

• Monitor and analyze inventory transactions and performance

• Audit financial processes to ensure compliance with GAAP

• Provide cost-saving recommendations based on expenditures

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of relevant Cost Accounting experience

• Hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Proficient in SAP ERP systems is preferred, but not mandatory

• Effective communicator within manufacturing settings
