Position: Experienced Accounts Payable Specialist Needed
Cassels is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month contract in Toronto. This position requires expertise in managing invoices, expense tracking, and Excel data management.

You'll play a vital role in the Accounting Department, reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor. Key responsibilities include reviewing invoices, maintaining transaction accuracy in Chrome River, and ensuring all financial processes are adhered to. Candidates with law firm experience and advanced Excel skills are highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve invoices and expense reports efficiently

• Perform data cleanup for transaction uploads

• Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding finances

• Maintain document accuracy and compliance standards

• Participate in financial system implementations

Requirements:

• 3 to 5+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable

• Post-secondary education in Accounting field

• Proficiency in Chrome River and ERP software

• Strong organizational skills with high accuracy

• Excellent communication skills necessary for collaboration
