Position: Full Time General Accountant at Albarrie
Join Albarrie Canada Limited in Barrie, Ontario as a Full-Time General Accountant. This onsite role involves comprehensive financial analysis, reporting, and collaboration with a dedicated finance team.

The General Accountant will report directly to the Director of Finance, taking charge of various accounting duties, including analysis, reconciliation, and financial reporting. A focus on plant accounting and experience in industrial manufacturing is essential for success in this role. You will prepare balance sheets and profit and loss statements, ensuring accurate financial summaries and compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and reconcile GLs and bank accounts monthly

• Manage WSIB calculations and tax filings for provinces

• Oversee inter-company transaction reconciliations

• Review payroll records and prepare journal entries

• Direct financial audits and prepare reports for stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

• 5+ years of plant accounting experience

• Proficient in Quick Books and ERP systems

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
